HERKUNFT / PFALZ™ is a collection of six wines conceived as one coherent expression of the Southern Palatinate — for wine lovers who value provenance, precision and individuality.

The Southern Palatinate is characterised by an exceptional diversity of soils, exposures, elevations and microclimates. These natural conditions shape the character of each wine and form the foundation of the HERKUNFT / PFALZ™ collection.

Every site has its own profile, every parcel its own expression. The task of vinification is not to impose a predetermined style upon these differences, but to reveal them with precision and allow them to be experienced in the wine — giving each parcel the space to speak for itself while at the same time expressing the unmistakable signature of Doppler-Hertel. Together, the six wines form a portrait of the Southern Palatinate — each distinct, yet inseparable from the origin they share.

HERKUNFT / PFALZ™ is not a collection of individual varietal wines. It is a collage of the Southern Palatinate: six wines, each with its own identity, united by a shared sense of place, philosophy and the signature of Doppler-Hertel.

For us, contemporary German wine is not about leaving tradition behind. It is about building upon it — with precision, restraint and an openness to the individual expression rooted in provenance. HERKUNFT / PFALZ™ brings together the character of place and the signature of Doppler-Hertel – precisely interpreted, individually vinified and immediately perceptible in the glass.

The result is a collection in which no wine is interchangeable.
